Population - Dramatically declined. From several trillion at civilisation's peak to roughly 1 billion.


Physical state

  • Mostly post human bodies. Mutations, Genetic modifications, and most people have implants and cyberware (With limited functions after the fall of the internet [some settlements have local nets that re-enable them possibly])



Factions


The council of Thorns

  • A group of 11 powerful mages (named by numbers)

  • Each mage is a master/sage if their specialised 'school' of magic (Resonance plane)

  • Each mage resides in a section of the world closest to their chosen plane.

  • Commands their own sects of acolyte researcher, aspirants.

  • Convenes / travel via portals
