Mostly post human bodies. Mutations, Genetic modifications, and most people have implants and cyberware (With limited functions after the fall of the internet [some settlements have local nets that re-enable them possibly])

Each mage is a master/sage if their specialised 'school' of magic (Resonance plane)
Each mage resides in a section of the world closest to their chosen plane.
Commands their own sects of acolyte researcher, aspirants.
